Become an Au Pair in 7 steps

1. Register for free on AuPair-Yes and create your profile

Do note that profiles that are filled out completely, have a personal letter to the family and are with nice pictures are more successful and likely to be selected. Probably you won’t have to wait so long before you get your first message through our messaging system.

2. Search for a Host Family

Search for a suitable Host Family.

3. Make contact with the Host Family.

Use our messaging system to send applications and messages to Au Pairs and Host Families that you are interested in.

4. Sign the Au Pair Contract and take care other formalities

After the agreement of the Au Pair and Host Family on their coming together, the Au Pair would be needing an Au Pair contract, an insurance and in some case (if visa is required) an invitation letter.

5. Get ready by preparing your travel documents (visa if necessary) and organizing the journey (booking the flight tickets etc.) to your Host Family

In the case that a visa is required for entry into the country the Au Pair has to go to the embassy with the documents provided by the Host Family to apply for a visa.

6. Adapt to your Host Family and the new country

It is necessary in order to be able to leave in harmony with your Host Family that you adapt to your new environment, possibly to different kind of food, culture, language, whether an so on.
